DOGtime's Study program

Introduction

DOGtime offers two bachelor programmes: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Bachelor of Design (Bdes). Both programmes run for 5 consecutive years till graduation. The first two years consist of an introductory course for both of the programmes. After these two years the candidate makes a choice for one of the Bachelor programmes offered by the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.

DOGtime Instruction years

DOGtime has a two instruction years (Propedeuse) DOGtime I and DOGtime II and three advanced years. The first two years are an extensive introduction to and application of:

- Sound
- Painting
- Unstable Media
- Sculpture
- Art history
- Drawing
- Communication
- Performance
- Digital Photography
- Video.

DOGtime students can follow the Studium Generale Rietveld. This is a lecture programme on fourteen wednesday afternoons during an academic year. The lectures are moderated in English or Dutch. Visiting the Studium Generale programme is not obligatory for students of DOGtime but we encourage viewing its programme and participate in it whenever possible.
