DOGtime (Deeltijd Opleiding Gerrit Rietveld Academie) Brief introduction
The DOGtime study program offers a five year parttime evening course in
Fine Art and Interaction Design-Unstable Media. The DOGtime programme
operates within the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and offers all facilities
and expertise of the fulltime academy. DOGtime was initiated in 2003 by visual artist and teacher Manel Esparbé i Gasca on behalf of Gerrit Rietveld Academy. DOGtime consists of a heterogeneous team of artists, designers, cultural entrepreneurs and theoreticians, who are selected to deliver the intensive and demanding curriculum. The interconnection of theory and practice is the root of the curriculum of the DOGtime study programme. The programme aims to present different opinions, ideas and methods of thinking, working and presenting. This is done through theoretical and practical assignments and individual or joint work evaluations. DOGtime study programme functions as a structured fundament for becoming and working in the field of fine arts or interaction design and unstable media. |
